Welcome to the Hastings BME Project Website

The Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Project in Hastings has produced this website for Black and Minority Ethnic individuals from all communities and groups including Asylum seekers, Refugees and Eastern Europeans, mixed race, Asians, Africans, Chinese, Middle Easterners etc and anyone who perceives themselves as identifying with this group.

This website is to also provide an appropriate mechanism for disseminating information to local stakeholders and organisations in the community, voluntary and statutory sectors. This site welcomes those who embrace diversity, community cohesion, race equality and supports equality of opportunity.

Our site aims to keep you engaged with what is happening in Hastings and surrounding areas by providing a space and a place for organisations and groups to publicise information and their activities. We hope you find our site interesting and useful. Please do contact us to let us know what we can provide which will be of use to you.

The next publication issue of Cultural Voices (BME Project's Newsletter) is January 2009 . The closing date for everyone to submit information to be considered for inclusion is Friday 16th January at 12 Noon.. A further publication will follow in April 2009.
