Are you aware of the library service, in particular our free internet access, and the computing courses run upstairs with Learn Direct. All you need to use the computers is proof of ID.

The reference department also has a wide selection of dictionaries, books to help with writing CVs, telephone directories and yellow pages for the whole country and a wide variety of reference books on different subjects, all of which can be used without library membership.

If you want to borrow books or other items from the lending or children's libraries then just bring proof of address and signature.

The childrens library also has a computer suite with filtered internet access for children; they would need to bring an adult with them to join, but again, access is free and there are also lots of books to help with homework.
