address local health and social care sues.
Assists voluntary and community groups to influence the new Health
Improvement planning process and represent the needs of service users
and local communities.

Co-ordinates the monitoring and evaluation of HVA's work including

Supports activities that

promote cultural diversity and race equality.
Works with other agencies and partnership bodies to enable BME
community members to influence local policy, planning and service
provision.

the Community Cohesion Action Plan
Advises community and voluntary services providing support to refugees
and asylum seekers

Has a regular slot on local radio station and can advertise
opportunities via the Internet.
